Hello! I'm Rachel Adshead, the founder and owner of Obscura Studios. My journey began as an artist and painter, igniting a deep passion that eventually led me to delve into the captivating world of photography. Now, I'm committed to intertwining my artistic origins with my business endeavors.
Painting is my soul's expression. It has been a profound emotional journey—where tears, frustrations, love, and passion intertwine within each brushstroke. Art, to me, is a conduit for emotions, and it was through my paintings that I discovered the realm of photography. Painting acted as a gateway, allowing me to explore diverse mediums, with photography becoming one of the many paths I tread upon.

Commissions
Art commissions are for personalized art pieces rendered in mixed media, oil paint, and watercolors. The oil and mixed media are created on canvas and the watercolors are painted on various watercolor paper sizes. Art commissions are primarily landscapes, architecture, and watercolor illustrations.
